Privacy Policy — CourtPage™ Volleyball

Last updated: September 8, 2026

CourtPage Sports LLC ("we," "us," "our") built CourtPage™ Volleyball (the "App") to help volleyball coaches chart matches. This policy explains what information the App handles and how. The short version: the App runs entirely on your own device, we do not operate any server, and we never receive, see, or store your match data.

The App is fully offline and local-first

All match data — including any charted actions, jersey numbers, notes, and statistics — is stored only on your own device. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or has access to your match data. We do not have user accounts, logins, or cloud sync. Nothing you chart in the App is transmitted to us or to any third party. The App does not use any analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising software of any kind, and it contains no third-party software development kits that transmit data off your device — every framework the App uses is a standard, built-in Apple system framework.

This website's email signup

Separately from the App described above, this website (courtpagevolleyball.com) offers an optional email signup so visitors can receive updates about CourtPage™ Volleyball's release, new features, and what's next. If you choose to enter your email address in that signup form, it is collected and stored by our email marketing provider, Omnisend, not by the App itself and not by any of the local-first systems described elsewhere in this policy.

By signing up, you'll receive emails from us from time to time — such as launch announcements, new feature updates, and other CourtPage news. We do not send unrelated marketing, and we will never sell, rent, or otherwise share your email address with data brokers, advertisers, or any other third party for their own marketing purposes. Your email is used solely to send you the updates described here. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in any email you receive, or by contacting us at the address below. Omnisend's own handling of this data is governed by Omnisend's privacy policy, available at omnisend.com.

Player names, jersey numbers, and initials

Charted match actions (kills, errors, digs, and similar) are recorded against a jersey number for indoor matches. Beach volleyball players typically don't wear jersey numbers, so beach matches instead record actions against player initials. Separately, a coach may optionally enter a team roster (first name, last name, and jersey number for indoor teams) for their own reference. If a roster is entered, the App displays the matching player's name alongside their jersey number or initials in certain in-app stat views. Exported files — PDF match reports and CSV/Excel stat exports — remain jersey-number-only for indoor matches, so anything that leaves the device for an indoor match does not include player names. For beach matches, because there are no jersey numbers to reference, PDF and CourtPage exports include player initials (never full names) for both teams instead; indoor exports are unaffected and remain jersey-numbers-only on both sides.

Data export and import is entirely user-controlled

The App includes a feature to export your own data as a backup file and import it later. This file is created and stored by you — on your own device, in your own cloud storage, or wherever you choose to save it. We never receive a copy of it, and no automatic backup runs in the background without your action.

Subscriptions and payment

If you choose to purchase a CourtPage Base subscription, that purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive, see, or store your payment card number, billing address, or other payment details — Apple processes and holds all of that directly, governed by Apple’s own privacy policy, not ours. Subscription status is verified on your own device using Apple’s StoreKit framework; consistent with the rest of the App’s fully local-first design described above, CourtPage does not operate a server and does not receive a copy of your purchase history, receipt, or entitlement status from Apple.

Apple may share limited transaction information with us as the app developer (for example, aggregate sales and subscription-status reporting available to all developers through App Store Connect) — this reporting is provided by Apple at an account level, not tied to your name or contact information from within the App, since we don’t collect either.

Data retention and deletion

Because all data lives only on your device, you are always in full control of it. Deleting a Season, Folder, or Match within the App permanently removes it. Deleting the App itself removes all of its data from your device, subject to any backup file you separately exported and saved elsewhere. We have no copy to retain or delete on our end, because we never receive one.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for use by coaches and team staff, not by players directly. Any information entered about student athletes — jersey numbers for indoor matches, initials for beach matches, and optionally first/last names if a coach chooses to enter a roster, as described above — is entered by the coach, not collected directly from minors by the App, and is never transmitted off the coach's own device. Coaches are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate permission from their school, athletic department, or players' families to record and display this information, consistent with their own program's or school district's policies (for example, standard preseason media/directory-information consent forms many schools already use for game programs, video analysis platforms, or similar tools).

Your choices

Because the App collects nothing on our end, there is no account to close and no company-held data to request, correct, or delete. Uninstalling the App, or deleting specific Seasons, Folders, or Matches within it, gives you complete control over what data exists and where. If you signed up for email updates on this website, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email you receive, or by contacting us below.
